This policy explains what Freiman Legal collects through this website, how it is used, and how to reach us about it.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use a contact or referral form, we receive what you type: typically your name, phone number, email address, the state where you worked, and your message. Please do not send confidential or privileged information through a form. If a lawyer refers a matter to us, we receive what that lawyer sends about the client.

Information collected automatically. Our website provider, Squarespace, uses cookies and logs needed to run the site and to protect it. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. It records pages viewed, the device and browser used, approximate location, and how you arrived. Google sets cookies to do this. Google may use these cookies to recognize your browser across other sites. This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether we can help.
  • To run, secure, and improve the website.
  • To comply with legal and professional obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers that run this site and our office, and as the law or the rules of professional conduct require.

Who handles your data for us

  • Squarespace, Inc., which hosts the site and stores form submissions.
  • Google LLC, which provides Google Analytics.
  • Our email provider, which delivers form submissions to us.

Each is bound by its own privacy terms and by our instructions.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, as part of your file. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule and is not tied to your name.

Your choices

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes
